JASS International is an international consultancy for senior living, wellness and hospitality projects. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits this website or contacts us, wherever you are in the world.
1. Who is responsible for your information
JASS International is the controller of the personal information collected through this website and in the course of our work. If you have a question about this policy or about your information, write to us through the inquiry form on this website and we will respond within two working days.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need, and only when you choose to share it:
- Inquiry details. When you use the contact or media forms, we receive your name, organization, email address, country of the project and whatever you tell us about your project or request.
- Newsletter signups. If you join the Longevity Letters, we receive your email address.
- Correspondence. Emails, calls and meeting notes created while we discuss a possible engagement.
- Website preferences. Your language, accessibility and motion preferences, stored in your browser only, never on our servers.
We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiles or social media pixels on this website, and we do not buy information about you from anyone.
3. Why we use it
We use personal information to reply to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver consulting services, send the Longevity Letters to those who asked for them, and keep the records our profession and the law require. Where privacy law asks us to name a basis for each use, they are: your consent, when you send a form or join the newsletter; a contract, when we work together; our legitimate interest in running a professional practice and keeping its records; and legal obligations that apply to us.
4. Sharing and international transfers
We never sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as email, hosting and scheduling tools, under contracts that restrict them to our instructions; with professional advisers bound by confidentiality; and where the law compels us.
Because we work across continents, your information may move to countries other than your own. Wherever it goes, we use recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism, and we treat every inquiry to the standard described in this policy, no matter where it comes from.
5. How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are kept for the period required by the professional and tax rules that apply to the engagement, and no longer. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete sooner at any time.
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us to: give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, withdraw a consent you have given, or send you a portable copy. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or another jurisdiction with a dedicated regulator, you may also complain to that authority. We ask you to contact us first, so we can put things right.
We answer every rights request within 30 days at the latest.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only things stored in your browser are the preferences you choose yourself: language, accessibility settings and display choices. You can clear them at any time in your browser and the site will continue to work.
8. Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access limited to the people who need it, and confidentiality undertakings across the team. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we treat the care of your information the way we treat the care of our clients' plans.
9. Children
Our services and this website are directed at organizations and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date. Material changes will be flagged clearly before they take effect.
